July 2026

This release makes day-to-day review easier to navigate, share, and pick back up without losing context.

A more focused workspace

  • Use the product switcher to move between the review products available to your organization. The primary navigation now keeps each product's home close at hand, while shared work such as the Assurance Graph, standards or specifications, profiles, and the audit trail lives under Workspace.
  • Help now puts What's new, Getting started, documentation, release notes, and feedback together. After sign-in, a non-blocking release brief highlights the updates relevant to your role and available products. You can acknowledge it, ask to be reminded later, or reopen it from Help > What's new. Your Account menu keeps settings, team options when available, and sign out in one place.
  • Add drawing and Add MTR follow the review context, so the primary action starts the kind of intake you are working in.

Drawing Review

  • The canvas now supports zoom, pan, fit-to-view, and previous/next finding controls that keep the selected finding and its evidence in context. Moving between sheets or focusing title-block evidence no longer clears the review you were working through.
  • Tools groups finding highlighting, comments, markups, and measurement. Overlays appears when a reviewed drawing has supported evidence to show. Compare appears only when another drawing is available in the workspace.
  • Findings distinguish material information from surface-finish information more clearly, so a material callout is not presented as a finish issue.
  • For PDFs, Create annotated PDF creates a versioned annotated copy with finding markers and a finding register. The original and annotated copies remain separate, so the source drawing is unchanged.

Review confidence and continuity

  • Born-digital drawings have improved handling for identified GD&T evidence.
  • Scanned drawings and certificates use local OCR when it is enabled for your workspace. Semper shows the extraction basis and keeps uncertain reads for reviewer confirmation instead of treating them as certain.
  • If a review takes longer than the browser wait window, keep the document in place and use Re-review or retry the action shortly. You do not need to upload the file again.

Material Certs

  • Material Certs is organized around Intake, Batch, and Results. Intake captures an MTR, its specification, and optional receipt context such as heat, lot, PO or line, part number, work order, material grade, and product form or size.
  • Batch review rolls a package of certificates against one specification and highlights receipt heats that still need a certificate.
  • Results bring the verdict, findings, compliance matrix, source evidence, and acceptance action together. Local OCR status is visible for scanned input.
  • Charpy results preserve their test context, including individual readings when available, so unrelated numbers are not treated as impact-test values.
  • Eligible workspaces can load a sample pack to learn the complete intake and results flow without using production documents.
  • The Result page has its own Share menu for a review link or a supplier-facing corrective-action link when your access allows it. Export packet is the single export action for the completed compliance record.

Sharing and access

  • Share on a drawing or Material Cert copies a deep link to the same review context. Signed-in teammates open the relevant document and selected finding, subject to their workspace access.
  • Reviewers with the required access can create a read-only supplier link for corrective action and manage or revoke active supplier links from the same page.
  • Invitation and welcome links have been made more reliable, including clearer guidance when a link has expired or already been used. Administrators can send a new invite when needed.
