Compare P&ID tags against the line list and instrument index. Semper runs deterministic checks for missing, orphaned, and mismatched tags — so the diagram and its registers stay in agreement.

Born-digital PDFs and DEXPI exports give the most reliable extraction. Scanned P&IDs are supported when your deployment includes local OCR; low-confidence extractions route to the review queue instead of being asserted. If your tenant has AI enrichment enabled, it can assist extraction on scans.

Upload the drawing and registers, then click Run consistency review. If a run fails, the result panel says what went wrong and stays visible until the next successful run. Semper extracts the tags from the diagram and cross-checks them against the line list and instrument index:
