Settings
Settings covers your profile, the perception engine, and notifications for
your organization's workspace.
Profile
Your account details for this workspace. Your identity is what dispositions
and audit events are attributed to.
Perception engine
Controls where extraction runs for your organization:
- Local (default) — OCR and extraction run on-prem within your deployment. Nothing leaves your environment.
- Enhanced local OCR — selected workspaces can use an isolated private OCR worker. It falls back to standard local OCR when unavailable and records that fallback in the evidence provenance.
- AI enrichment (scans) — optionally enable cloud-assisted enrichment for scanned documents. This is off unless your organization turns it on, and it also governs whether Ask AI explanations are available.
