Profiles let you scope a review to a part family and tune individual rules.
Reviews run with the full check set unless a profile narrows it.
Use a profile when a check set that's right for one part family produces noise
on another — for example, different tolerancing expectations for machined
parts versus sheet metal.
How profiles apply
A review picks up the active profile when it runs; Re-review applies a
newly selected profile to an existing review.
Rules can be individually enabled, disabled, or tuned within a profile.
Without a profile, nothing is filtered: the full check set runs.
Profiles are managed in the Profiles view in the side navigation.
Profiles work for MTR reviews too: a profile scoped to the material-review
rules can tune or disable individual compliance checks, and every review
records which profile it ran with.
Workspace profiles
After tuning rules, use Save to workspace to keep the profile for your
whole team: workspace profiles appear as selectable cards for every member,
survive across browsers and devices, and can be deleted by reviewers and
admins. Saving and deleting workspace profiles is recorded in the
audit trail.
